]]>This pattern is suited for all stages of maternity and post-partum – trimesters 1, 2, 3, & 4, as well as for nursing.
Infinity dresses are named for the infinite ways they can be worn, thanks to the innumerable ways you can wrap the straps to make the bodice uniquely yours. Our Knit Infinity Dress pattern is a deluxe version featuring:
The waistband has elastic in the back which is hidden with a lining so that the dress is comfortable and the elastic won’t rub your skin. The half circle skirt makes this maternity friendly and the flexibility of the straps makes it nursing friendly.
The pattern is layered so you can print only the size you need and it tells you exactly which pages you need to print for your chosen options so you can minimize pages printed (in either home print (both 8.5×11″ and A4) or copy shop/A0 format). Additionally, it comes with a “template” print option that allows you to further minimize pages printed by using the templates and doing a little drafting yourself.
Lightweight knits with stretch. Suggested fabrics include lightweight double brushed poly, ITY, jersey, and tricot.

]]>This pattern is suited for late maternity – trimesters 2 & 3.
This pattern is designed for nursing (optional).
The Tropo Maternity Camisole is named for the troposphere – the bottom layer of the earth’s atmosphere – since it’s great on its own but perfectly suited for layering. This camisole is designed to be form fitted so you can wear it as a layering piece and has an optional interior shelf bralette that can be sewn out of fashion fabric, power mesh, or fashion fabric and power mesh together for added support.
The camisole comes in 3 cup size options: A-B, C-D and E-F. C-D and E-F are darted to accomodate a larger bust while mainting a sleek shape. Side gathers accomodate a pregnant belly.
View A is straight across the front, View B has a gentle scoop, View C has a sweetheart shape, and View D spices up the sweetheart with a sexy V strap. All views are useable for Front or Back for 16 different possible combinations!
All views can be sewn as a nursing camisole, with or without bralette, for nursing while pregnant or immediate postpartum use.
Light to midweight knits with at least 40% stretch.
Suggested fabrics include: jersey, ribbing
Optional: Power mesh for bralette
fold-over elastic (FOE)
3/4” (19 mm) elastic for bralette (optional)
Maternity Sewing also sell the non-maternity version of this pattern as it contains a nursing camisole. We recommend the non-maternity version for longer term nursing use.
A sewalong with patterns hacks and more is available at Tuesday Stitches.

The Maternity Ultraviolet Tee will be an everyday staple of your summer like the UV rays from summer sunshine. Oversized with short cut-on sleeves, the shirt can be sewn from knits or wovens. View A has curved hem that comes up high over the belly with high-low shape from front to back, meant to be worn over a camisole. View B is standard shirt length and has a straight hem. Available in 2 cup size options: A-C (dartless) or D-F (darted/gathered) and with an optional pocket. Fully illustrated step-by-step instructions provide separate construction information for wovens and knits.
