Description

The Escapade Bra, Top & Dress is a Fitted bra or bikini, tank or tankini, or dress with built-in shelf bra. Tank and dress are available as ruched-side maternity. The tank/tankini can have a banded bottom or hem. All have an built-in shelf bra with optional removable cups. Straps can be straight, crossed or tied as a halter. Back can be one piece or colorblocked at the top.

Suggested Fabrics

This pattern requires knit fabric with 4-way 50% stretch. Lycra blends such as brushed polyester, supplex, rayon, and nylon lycra will work well for it.

Notions

1/4″ Washaway Wonder Tape (recommended but optional)
1/4″ clear elastic (for tank and dress options) – max of 48” (dependent on size)
3/8” swim elastic (3yds-including one very long piece)
3/4” plush-back lingerie elastic (underbust size)
1/4” or 3/8” elastic (for optional ruching of side seams on non-maternity version. You’ll need 20-30”.)
PowerNet mesh can be used for extra support in the bra – 1/4yd
Removable bra cups – great for modesty and minimal support
