Description

The Runway Skirt is a vintage inspired skirt with 3 different length options intended to draw the eyes of all as you glide past.  You will feel like you’re walking down a runway!  Graceful yet comfortable, this skirt is made from knit/stretchable fabrics with lightweight, sheer godets in the back swishing in your wake.  A wide waistband and optional invisible zipper keep you tucked in tight all evening long.  The ultimate feminine skirt. Prepare yourself for compliments!

Now you can sew and wear the Runway Skirt when you are expecting your new arrival!  The maternity add on offers three different variations for adapting the Runway Skirt for maternity wear.  Options are included for underbelly, mid to over the belly waistbands and a panel for extra comfort and support.

For maxi length, there are 5 different measurements to choose from, from 40” – 45” plus directions on how to adjust the length if you need.  This length skirt will be perfect for a special occasion where you want to make a smashing impression!  (Because it’s made from knit (or stretch woven) fabrics, no one will guess how comfortable you are!)  The abundance of godets in the back (7 in all!) make sure you swish and sweep everywhere you go.

The midi length (4 measurements to chose from 30”-33”) is perfect for both formal and casual events.  Wear it to the office for a professional air.  With 5 godets in the back, this length is comfortable, stylish and feminine all wrapped up in one.

The knee length version has 4 measurements to choose from 23” – 26”.  Flirty and fun, this length holds true to it’s vintage roots with 5 godets also.

Suggested Fabrics

Fabrics with at least 40% stretch for main skirt: double knit, interlock, ponte de roma, stretch velvet, jersey, etc. Lightweight fabric for godets: chiffon, rayon challis, voile, silk, etc.
